My First Ever Boxing Post

I have always been a big boxing fan, but until this point have never really written anything about it. Tonight I saw 2 good fights, the Hopkins/Taylor fight and the Winky Wright fight. The mythical title of pound for pound best fighter on the planet came up roughly 35 times during the 2 fights and it got me to thinking about who really are the best pound for pound fighters in the sport today. Here is the list I came up with of the best 20 pound for pound fighters right now.

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
2. Ronald “Winky” Wright
3. Marco Antonio Barrera
4. Erik Morales
5. Manny Pacquiao
6. Ricky Hatton
7. Jermain Taylor
8. Antonio Tarver
9. Zab Judah
10. Jose Luis Castillo
11. Bernard Hopkins
12. Juan Manuel Marquez
13. Kostya Tszyu
14. James Toney
15. Miguel Cotto
16. Oscar De La Hoya

18. Rafael Marquez
