Aleksandrov Injured

Nemanja Aleksandrov is out 6 to 9 months with a knee injury. He was projected as a top 5 player in this years draft just a year ago, but played sparingly and poorly in Europe this year, causing his stock to drop. This injury will likely be the straw that broke the camels back and forces him out of this draft (something that was rumored even before the injury) because he will not be able to workout for teams or participate in summer leagues. For a player that is already seen as a project, that's not a great start. Nemanja is still young and truthfully another year in Europe will probably help his game. He has a huge upside and solid skills, so look for him in next years draft. Looks like this years draft finally has its first player pulling out. Expect a lot more to follow.
